My Creative Statement
A person's lifelong goals frequently alter. We have a lot of questions from a young age and occasionally become attached to one item after another. Like many others, I wasn't initially drawn to games and animation at a young age, but in secondary school, a buddy introduced me to 3D modeling. Since we both had a strong passion for gaming, it was highly unlikely that we wouldn't begin working in this field. Since then, I have gradually improved my 3D modeling abilities and begun studying animation. Growing up, I came to the realization that the world has shifted to corporate "things I buy" and that making things and pursuing passions out of love are no longer common. It has nullified the passion in video games, movies, and other media. However, there are still others who wish to put their hearts into their creations, and I include myself among them. I've made the decision to put in a lot of effort and love into learning 3D modeling and animation with the goal of eventually leading a studio. In addition to my friend, I also look up to Sam Lake and Hideo Kojima, who work for Remedy and Kojima Production, respectively. They serve as my inspiration when I write and animate or direct video games and films.
